So the character Stewart from MadTV isn't really that far off from reality...well....at least his little antics of showing off and saying "Look what I can do" LilFoo has started to say this and it is pretty funny.
For those of you who haven't see Stewart here is one of my favorite ones....

From Little Devil to Little Angel
MiniFoo came down with a fever of 104 on Monday. I rushed home from work while BigFoo picked her and LilFoo up from daycare. It was too late in the day to get her into the regular clinic so we had to go to urgent care. The decision was I would take MiniFoo there and BigFoo and LilFoo would stay home. LilFoo didn't like this idea and wanted to come along, I agreed to let him come along on the condition that he was extra special good. He agreed and he was UNTIL....while we were waiting in our room for the Dr. to see us LilFoo decided he had to go to the bathroom (this was already the 2nd time since we had been there) so we all had to leave the room and find a bathroom which took us past a tank of fish. LilFoo wanted to look and I reminded him that he needed to go to the bathroom. So he did his business and on our way back to the room he wanted to stop and see the fish again. I explained that we needed to go back to the room so the Dr. could see MiniFoo but after that he could look at the fish. He whined a little but came along. We saw the Dr and on our way out I figured I should run to the bathroom too LilFoo didn't like this idea and wanted to stay and look at the fish. Now if the fish had been right across from the bathroom I probably wouldn't have minded but it was a good 5 or 6 rooms away down a hallway. LilFoo didn't want to come but I got him as far as the bathroom door and he refused to come in. An Admin. gal stopped and tried to help but it didn't and only made me more embarrassed that my son was acting this way. So I gave up on the idea of going to the bathroom and decided that we would just leave, but to do that we would have to walk past the fish which got LilFoo again and I couldn't get him away from it. I had 3 nurses try to help me talk him away so we could go and nothing helped. I tried counting to 3 I tried walking away like I was going to leave him there and yes I tried dragging him at one point too (not to proud of that one) This all had to look pretty crazy since I had a sick MiniFoo in my arms the whole time wondering what was going on. So in a last ditch effort I decided to start to take away more things, I had already told him that he wasn't going to get a skateboard that he wants. Now I moved on to, "No fun things this week" and then the one that finally worked.........."No OY this weekend!" his bestest friend in the world. It worked and I wish I had said that one earlier but I wasn't thinking clearly. We finally got out to the car, loaded up and on our way home, I didn't even bother stopping at the store to pick up MiniFoo's prescription for fear of never getting my son out of the store. I have NEVER had this hard of a time with LilFoo and hope I never do again.
The next day....
MiniFoo had to stay home from daycare so we kept LilFoo home too and I worked from home with the kids. LilFoo didn't cause many problems and MiniFoo slept a lot. While I was busy doing some other things LilFoo decided to make mommy and daddy's bed. Didn't ask him to or say anything about it I just walked in to the room to find him making it and he said it was because he remembered that daddy was working. I think that meant that he wanted to help out. And it did and it really did help make up for what he did the night before. And we had a wonderful day at home, we even got Old McDonald's and had a picnic outside for lunch.
So that was my 24 hours of LilFoo going from a little devil to a little angel.
I still won't let him forget what happened at the clinic though!!

What I Want To Be When I Grow Up
LilFoo has mentioned a few things that he would like to be when he grows up...
- An Army Man (not to thrilled about this one but what mom would be?)
- A Chef (wouldn't mind this one at all!)
- An Ice Cream truck driver (a good humor man, not a bad idea either!)
